Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan departed Dhaka for the United States on Saturday for an official visit.
During his visit to the US from Monday to Tuesday, the Bangladesh Air Force chief will engage in discussions on the activities of BAF units deployed in peacekeeping missions and related matters.
He will also meet with senior officials at the United Nations headquarters to enhance coordination and cooperation between the BAF and the UN, with the aim of increasing Bangladesh’s contributions to peacekeeping missions in the future.
This visit is expected to strengthen relations between Bangladesh and the UN, expanding the scope of mutual cooperation in professional fields.
The air force chief is set to return to Bangladesh on Friday after the completion of his visit.
