The Police Headquarters on Sunday called upon the general public to upload still images and video footage of the July uprising on the website andolonerchobi.police.gov.bd.
Images and video footage can be uploaded on the website from February 11 to February 25, reads a press release from the Police Headquarters.
The Police Headquarters has taken the initiative in order to collect information and digital evidence of the attacks, killings and shootings against students and people during the mass movement.
"So everyone is called upon to upload still images and video footage captured on personal mobile phones/cameras from July 1 to August 5, 2024 on the website, andolonerchobi.police.gov.bd," it said.
A maximum of one still image and video footage can be uploaded per hour and a maximum of five per day using a mobile number, the release says.
An OTP will be sent to the uploader's mobile number before uploading each file. The uploaded files can be viewed by logging in using the uploader's mobile number.
