Novoair, a private airline, has turned the dream of air travel into reality for 30 underprivileged children from schools run by the JAAGO Foundation.
On Wednesday, as part of its 12th-anniversary celebrations, Novoair organized a "Dream Flight" for the children to Cox’s Bazar and conducted a beach cleaning program at the iconic sea beach.
The children’s journey began with a flight from Dhaka at 10:20am, and after a day of unforgettable experiences, they returned on a 6:30pm flight.
During their time in Cox’s Bazar, the children explored the sea beach, visited the Bangladesh Air Force base, and toured Cox’s Bazar Railway Station.
Sharing her excitement, Maymuna Rahman, a fifth-grade student, said: “I never imagined I would fly on a plane to see the sea beach and visit an Air Force base. Novoair has made my dream come true, and I am so grateful.”
Third-grader Hanif Mia added: “Flying above the clouds was magical. Playing on the beach and seeing the railway station—it was like a dream I never thought possible.”
Mofizur Rahman, Novoair’s managing director, expressed the airline’s commitment to giving back to the community.
“Children are the future of our nation. This initiative aims to inspire and fulfil their dreams, which aligns with our sense of social responsibility,” he said.
Regarding Novoair’s dedication to environmental sustainability, he said: “Cox’s Bazar is a national treasure. Through our Beach Cleaning program, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of preserving its beauty for future generations."

Novoair operates daily flights connecting Dhaka with Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Syedpur, Jessore, Sylhet, and Rajshahi.
While its Kolkata route remains temporarily suspended, the airline has plans to resume international flights soon.
