President Mohammed Shahabuddin has urged the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC) to complete the recruitment process for judges as swiftly as possible.
The president made the remarks on Monday when a BJSC delegation, led by Appellate Division Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury, chairman of the commission, presented the Annual Report 2023 at Bangabhaban.
Other commission members were also in attendance, according to President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin.
Expressing satisfaction with the BJSC’s activities, the president praised its progress and contributions.
During the meeting, Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury briefed him on the key aspects of the annual report and the commission’s overall initiatives.
President Shahabuddin expressed optimism that the BJSC, under its current leadership, would continue to grow with expertise and experience, ultimately driving qualitative improvements in the nation’s judicial system.
Secretaries from the President's Office were also present during the meeting.
