The price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk1,481 taka, bringing it to Tk1,37,227 taka per bhori.
The new price will be effective from Monday, as announced by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus).
Meanwhile, 21-carat gold will cost Tk1,30,998, 18-carat gold Tk1,12,289, and traditional gold Tk92,133 per bhori.
Although the price of gold has decreased, the price of silver remains unchanged: 22-carat silver is still Tk2,578 per bhori, 21-carat silver Tk2,449, 18-carat silver Tk2,111, and traditional silver Tk1,586 per bhori.
