Hasnat Abdullah, one of the central coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement platform, said students would unite against Awami League if it tries to return.
"While students may quarrel among themselves if Awami League tries to return, we will unite and send them across the border,” he said.
He made the comments during the farewell ceremony of Jahangirnagar University's 44th batch on Friday night.
While performing at the event, singer Asif Akbar acknowledged Hasnat Abdullah's presence, prompting him to join him on stage.
"If any of Hasina's supporters attempt to return, we will send them to the far corners of Russia like migratory birds," Hasnat added, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Describing Jahangirnagar University as the "second Leningrad" during the uprising, Hasnat also asserted: "We ousted Hasina from here."
