Gold prices drop

The prices have been reduced by a maximum of Tk2,519 per bhori

After five days, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (Bajus) has announced another reduction in the price of gold in the local market.

The prices have been reduced by a maximum of Tk2,519 per bhori.

As a result, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori will now be Tk136,189, down from Tk138,708.

This information was shared through a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Price Fixation and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of the Bajus on Tuesday.

Bajus stated that the price of refined gold has decreased in the local market.

Considering the overall situation, the new price of gold has been set.

The new gold prices will take effect from Wednesday.

Earlier, on Thursday, the price was reduced by a maximum of Tk3,453 per bhori.
