A public gathering is currently underway by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement’s “Fascism Resistance Platform.”
The program began around 12:30pm on Sunday, near the south gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque.
The gathering is taking place within 100 metres of Shahid Noor Hossain Square.
Several hundred people are attending the gathering.
Hasnat Abdullah, and Sarjis Alam, the key coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, were seen on stage.
Sarjis later delivered a speech for the crowd.
At the beginning of the program, participants raised various slogans against the Awami League and Sheikh Hasina.
