Former member of parliament and state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) following a sudden health issue.
He was taken to the hospital by police on Saturday night.
Upon arrival, doctors conducted an initial examination, after which the on-duty doctors recommended his admission to the medicine department for treatment.
On August 6, Zunaid Ahmed Palak was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while attempting to flee to New Delhi, India.
