Royal Enfield has officially launched in Bangladesh, offering motorcycles priced from Tk340,000 to Tk435,000, with a strong demand reflected in long pre-booking lines at the Tejgaon showroom, where customers eagerly waited to secure their orders after a year of anticipation.

At the flagship showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka, long queues formed as eager customers lined up to secure their pre-bookings.

The line extended approximately 100 meters to the nearby TVS motorcycle showroom, reflecting the high demand for the much-anticipated bikes.

Inside the showroom, staff members were inundated with requests, struggling to manage the overwhelming response.

A security guard at the showroom reported that some customers arrived as early as 3am to get in line.

One customer shared their experience, saying: “I arrived here at around 9:40am but only got inside the showroom at 1:30pm. Tuesday marks the end of my one-year wait to pre-book my preferred bike.”

Officials from Ifad Motors Limited, the manufacturer and distributor of Royal Enfield in Bangladesh, have yet to disclose the total number of pre-bookings made so far.

A representative said: “Many people have pre-booked online, while others wish to do so in cash and have come here on Tuesday. Consequently, we are currently very busy and unable to provide specific figures at this moment. The pre-booking fee is set at Tk25,000.”

Mominur Rahman Tanveer, head of Business for Royal Enfield at Ifad Motors Limited, confirmed the starting prices for various models, the Hunter model starts at Tk340,000, the Classic model at Tk405,000, the Bullet model at Tk410,000, and the Meteor model at Tk435,000.
