The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain or thundershowers in places across the country for 24 hours from 9am on Friday,
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely in a few places over Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and in one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Barisal and Chittagong divisions, said the BMD's latest weather bulletin.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.
The country's highest temperature on Thursday was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Feni and Friday's lowest temperature was 21.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
The highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am was recorded at 53mm in Barisal.
