The results of the 2024 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams for all education boards across the country have been published.
This year, a total of 145,911 students across the country achieved a GPA-5 in the HSC and equivalent exams.
Among them, 48,548 students are from the Dhaka Board, 24,902 from the Rajshahi Board, 7,922 from the Comilla Board, 9,749 from the Jessore Board, 5,759 from the Chittagong Board, 4,167 from the Barisal Board, 6,698 from the Sylhet Board, 14,295 from the Dinajpur Board, and 4,826 from the Mymensingh Board.
Additionally, 9,613 students from the Madrasah Education Board and 4,922 from the Technical Education Board achieved a GPA-5.
The combined pass rate for the nine general education boards, along with the Madrasah and Technical Education Boards, is 77.78%.
Last year, the overall pass rate across the 11 boards was 78.64%.
