The “Shahidi March”, organized in memory of those killed in July and August and marking the one-month anniversary of the fall of the Awami League government, began at Dhaka University’s Raju Sculpture on Thursday.
Participants carried national flags, banners, and placards depicting the events of July and August.

The march started at 3:30pm from the Raju Sculpture area. Students from Dhaka University and various colleges across the capital began gathering from 2:30pm to join the event.
The program was announced by the coordinators of the student movement during a press conference at the TSC of Dhaka University on Wednesday.

The march route includes Nilkhet, New Market, Kalabagan, Dhanmondi, Sangsad Bhaban, Farmgate, Kawran Bazar, and Shahbagh, and will conclude at the Central Shaheed Minar.
