The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has promoted 94 officials across various departments and positions.
This is the first time in 15 years that such a large number of officers and employees have been promoted in a single day.
The promotions were announced through separate office orders signed by Daud Hossain Chowdhury, director of the Administration and Human Resources Division of the ACC, on Monday.
According to ACC's Deputy Director and Public Relations Officer Md Aktarul Islam, among those promoted on Monday, six officials were elevated to assistant director from deputy assistant director, and 40 officials were promoted from Principal Assistant director to Deputy Assistant Director.
Besides, six have been promoted from senior assistant to principal assistant, 21 have been promoted from senior assistant to the assistant inspector, two have been promoted from data operator to senior assistant, six have been promoted from Office Assistant to Office Assistant cum Numismatic and 13 persons have been promoted from constable to the post of court assistant (ASI).
Previously, on August 29, nine officials were promoted from Deputy Director to Director.
