BNP has called for a sit-in program in front of its party offices across Bangladesh on Wednesday and Thursday, demanding the trial for genocide committed by Sheikh Hasina.
BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, announced this program on Tuesday.
He said a prayer session will be held to commemorate Khaleda Zia's birthday on Friday and to pray for those killed in the protest.
Special prayers have been arranged in Hindu temples and other places of worship.
