BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was released from jail on Tuesday.
He walked out of Keraniganj Jail around 5pm.
A Dhaka court on Sunday sent six leaders of the BNP and the Jamaat-e-Islami, including Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, to jail in a case lodged over vandalizing and setting Setu Bhaban in the capital's Banani area on fire on July 18.
Rizvi was detained from the Press Club area on July 13.
