The Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman will address the nation around 3pm on Monday.
The information was confirmed by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The army chief has urged the countrymen to keep patience till then, according to ISPR.
At least 96 people were killed and scores injured as alleged ruling party supporters and law enforcers engaged in deadly clashes with protesters across the country on Sunday, the first day of "total non-cooperation" called by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
