Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman has asked army officers to ensure the security of people's lives, properties, and important installations of the state under any circumstances.
He addressed all the army officers at the Helmet Auditorium in Dhaka Cantonment on Saturday.
During this time, he gave various directions to all the army officers regarding the current situation and answered their questions.
He further added: “Bangladesh Army is a symbol of the people's trust. The army is always there and will always be there for the people's interests and for any needs of the state.”
Moreover, he advised maintaining awareness about various rumors on social media and instructed the execution of duties with honesty, integrity, and justice.
During this time, senior military officials from the Army Headquarters along with all military officers from various bases participated through video teleconferencing (VTC).
