The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers in all divisions including Dhaka for 24 hours from 9am on Friday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, and in many places of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls in some places across the country, the BMD said.

Meanwhile, Dhaka saw 60mm of rain for three hours from 6am.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly across the country, according to the BMD.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded in Khulna at 36.2 degrees Celsius, while the lowest on Friday was in Bandarban at 23 degrees.
