Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) on Sunday protested derogatory remarks of Laila Kaniz Lucky, wife of former member of the National Revenue Board (NRB) Matiur Rahman, about journalists.
In a statement, DUJ President Sohel Haider Chowdhury and General Secretary Akhter Hossain demanded an unconditional apology from Laila for making such intentional comments on journalists.
Laila while coming from an event in Raipura, Narshingdi, said: “I came here after managing journalists, and everything will be stopped."
