Light to moderate rain and thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are expected in most places across Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, according to the met office’s latest weather bulletin issued on Tuesday.
A few areas in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions are also likely to experience similar weather conditions.
Heavy rain submerges Sylhet, Osmani hospital affectedAdditionally, some regions in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions might see moderately heavy to heavy rainfall, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department said.
Meanwhile, a mild heatwave is currently affecting several districts, including Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Bogra, Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia. This heatwave is expected to persist, bringing continued high temperatures to these areas.
Both day and night temperatures may fall slightly in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
However, temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged in the rest of the country, said the bulletin.
