Prior to the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, workers from various sectors, including the garment industry, will receive their salaries, bonuses, and festival allowances.
This decision was taken during the 77th meeting of the Tripartite Consultative Council (TCC) held at the Ministry of Labour and Employment on Wednesday.
State Minister for Labour and Employment Md Nazrul Islam Chowdhury chaired the event.
During a briefing at the meeting, Nazrul said that, following discussions and agreements between employers and workers, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be granted based on travel convenience. There will be no reduction in holidays, and no workers will be laid off before Eid.
