SFX Greenherald International School (Green Herald) has marked a pioneering milestone in the educational landscape of Bangladesh by launching the first official Greenherald Alumni Network (GH Alumni) and integrating cutting-edge blockchain technology into its certification process.
Formed in March 2023 under the official recognition of Green Herald, the GH Alumni Network boasts prominent figures in its leadership, including Sister Virginia Asha Gomes RNDM as the Chief Patron and Ronald Cruz as the Chief Mentor. Leading the charge are Sonia Bashir Kabir, serving as the founding President, and Barrister Mahin M Rahman as the Secretary-General.
Under the visionary leadership of Sonia Bashir Kabir and the 15-member founding Cabinet, Greenherald has partnered with Digiland, a pioneering Bangladeshi blockchain startup, to address the challenge of certificate authenticity. Leveraging Digiland's state-of-the-art blockchain platform, Greenherald aims to establish a tamper-proof system that ensures the integrity and security of its certificates.
By embracing blockchain technology, Greenherald will revolutionize its certification process, providing graduates with tamper-proof digital certificates accessible anytime, anywhere. Digiland's blockchain solution will create immutable digital records for each certificate, enabling instant verification through QR codes, thereby enhancing trust and efficiency in credential verification.
Expressing her enthusiasm, GH Alumni President Sonia Bashir Kabir remarked, "I am thrilled to lead Greenherald in becoming the first educational institution in Bangladesh to adopt sophisticated blockchain technology. GH Alumni is dedicated to empowering our alma mater with state-of-the-art solutions, propelling it into the future of education."
Echoing her sentiments, GH Alumni Secretary-General Mahin M Rahman emphasized the significance of blockchain integration in enhancing the school's administration and alumni experience. "We take pride in pioneering blockchain technology adoption, which will benefit current and former students alike. GH Alumni remains steadfast in supporting our alma mater's journey towards innovation and excellence."
The integration of blockchain technology marks a significant step forward for Green Herald, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and excellence in education. As the school continues to embrace technology-driven solutions, it sets a precedent for educational institutions nationwide, paving the way for a new era of secure and efficient certification processes.
