The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain in four divisions of the country.
Rain or thundershowers are predicted for one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, according to the BMD’s bulletin published at 9am on Monday.
Elsewhere in the country, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning.
Due to dense fog, inland water transport communication may be temporarily disrupted.
Night temperature may rise by 1-2°C and day temperature may remain as before over the country.
