Former Bangladesh cricket team captain and Narail-2 MP Mashrafe Bin Mortaza received a guard of honour in Narail as a whip of the 12th Parliament.
The new whip was given a guard of honour by a police team at Narail Circuit House at 10:15am on Thursday.
Afterwards, he unveiled the cover of a book entitled “Somriddhir Ogrojatray Narail.”
Later, Whip Mashrafe left Narail for Tungipara to visit the grave of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
It was Mashrafe’s first visit to his home district after being elected as a whip of the ruling party in the 12th Parliament.
