Cricket superstar and Narail-2 MP Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been announced as a whip of the 12th National Parliament.
The other four whips are- Abu Saeed Swapan, Iqbalur Rahim, Nazrul Islam Babu and Saimum Sarwar Kamal.
Meanwhile, Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury has been officially reappointed as the chief whip.
The appointments were announced in a notification signed by Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam from the Human Resources Branch-1 of the Parliament Secretariat.
On January 10, the government announced the decision to retain Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury as the chief whip, while Iqbalur Rahim and Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan as whips.
Mashrafe, Nazrul Islam Babu, and Saimum Sarwar Kamal are the newcomers on the whip list
