Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash affirmed that the youth in Bangladesh desire peace, not terrorism, and that the business community also seeks a peaceful environment.
Speaking at Jubo League's program at Baitul Mukarram South Gate on Sunday, Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash addressed the sit-in protest against various incidents, including the killing of policemen, arson at Kakrail Mosque and Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital, attack on the chief justice's residence and on journalists, and the illegal blockade by BNP-Jamaat.
He highlighted the importance of making Jubo League's program distinctive and emphasized that the organization stands for progress, development, and the people's aspirations for a better Bangladesh.
Sheikh Parash criticized BNP-Jamaat for engaging in terrorist activities and distancing themselves from the people.
Presided over by acting president of Dhaka South Jubo League Main Uddin Rana, the program featured speeches from central leaders, including Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, the general secretary of Jubo League.
