The “University Innovation Hub” is going to be inaugurated at the Brac University’s Mohakhali campus auditorium on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be joining the inauguration ceremony online as chief guest, reads a press release issued on Monday.
Brac University Pro Vice-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor Professor Syed Mahfuzul Aziz and other distinguished guests will also be present.
The “University Innovation Hub” is being inaugurated at Brac University alongside at nine other universities simultaneously as a part of a project of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division.
The aim is to foster innovation in business models, develop commercially viable products and effective marketing strategies, accelerate economic development of the nation and create new employment opportunities.
The project’s ultimate goal is to empower our country's students to become entrepreneurs and key drivers of change, both for themselves and the nation, as they successfully navigate the world of business.
