An accident has occurred on the newly opened Dhaka Elevated Expressway, with no injuries reported.
The accident took place on the expressway in the early hours of Saturday.
A witness said a rear-end collision happened between two vehicles when an SUV hit a sedan at the Kuril point on the expressway.
The SUV driver appeared to be drunk as he was talking in an inappropriate manner, he added.
Abdul Momen, deputy commissioner (traffic) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Gulshan Division, said: “We have not received any official complaint about the incident yet. We can start legal proceedings once we receive an official complaint."
