Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has organized the Women of Inspiration Award to honour and acknowledge the contributions of exceptional women who have made a significant impact in their respective fields.
The award ceremony was held at Hotel Sheraton in Dhaka on Saturday, read a press release.
These women have demonstrated exemplary leadership, shown unwavering dedication to their goals, and have inspired countless individuals to pursue their dreams.
The Women of Inspiration Award is a symbol of gratitude for their incredible influence on society and a celebration of their journey towards excellence.
With the same intentions, Women of Inspiration Award 2023 was held at a local hotel where all JCI members from various local organizations participated spontaneously.
The event included an award ceremony honouring outstanding female leaders of Bangladesh.
Awards were handed to 12 remarkable women in different categories such as Munzereen Shahid in academy, Saraban Tahura Turin in ICT, Fadiah Khan in Business, Farha Naz Zaman in corporate, Rupna Chakma in sports, Sadia Haque in startup, Rokeya Sultana in Art and Literature, Nurun Nahar Begum in banking, Tanjin Tisha in entertainment, Dr Sayeba Akhter in medical innovation, Shabnam Wazed as aspiring female leader and Dilara Zaman in lifetime achievement.
The chief guest of this ceremony was the
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and the special guests were the Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh, Alexandra Berg Von Linde and
Cooperation Deputy Head at the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh, Corinne Henchoz Pignani.
The 2023 National President of JCI Bangladesh, Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, also spoke at the event.
Moreover, the event saw the presence of Ravi Shankar Sathiyamoorthy, area advisor of JCI, Md Shakawat Hossain Mamun, chairperson of JCI Bangladesh Foundation and Niaz
Morshed Elite, secretary general of JCI Bangladesh Foundation.
Along with the inspiring women awardees, the present guests and a number of successful female leaders from JCI Bangladesh delivered their valuable and inspiring messages to all attendees.
JCI is a worldwide organization of young professionals and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40.
