RAB has arrested the person who threatened to kill SM Mustafa Zaman, the doctor of convicted war criminal and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee from Jhenaidah on Wednesday night.
Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of RAB's legal and media wing, confirmed the arrest adding that the details will be provided later.
Earlier, there was an allegation of threatening to kill Professor SM Mustafa Zaman, a doctor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), who treated Sayedee.
In this incident, he filed a general diary (GD) at Dhanmondi police station in the capital on Tuesday night.
After the death of convicted war criminal and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Monday night, his followers have spread various rumours and criticism on social media centring the death.
They also alleged the negligence of BSMMU doctors behind his death.
