The BNP announced the routes for Friday's mass procession to press home their demand for resignation of the Awami League government and holding the upcoming elections under a non-party caretaker government.
BNP's Dhaka South and North city units will organize the processions, which will begin at 2pm, according to BNP Media Cell, a verified Facebook page of the party.
The Dhaka City North unit of BNP will lead the mass procession from Suvastu Tower in Badda to Abul Hotel in Rampura, while the South unit will bring a procession from Kamalapur Stadium to Malibagh Railway Gate.
BNP has informed the media about the roadmap of the two mass marches to be held in the north and south areas of Dhaka metropolis.
According to the party, the general secretary of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will lead the rally in North Badda.
Standing committee member Mirza Abbas will lead the rally in Kamalapur.
Leaders from various levels of BNP and its organizations will participate in both the rallies.
The mass rally program will be coordinated by Metropolitan South convener Abdus Salam and acting member secretary Tanveer Ahmed.
Apart from this, BNP executive committee secretaries, co-secretaries and executive members will participate in the two programs as per their convenience.
