Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is not troubled by any visa policies or intimidation, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said.
Sheikh Hasina, also the Awami League chief, would never bow down to anyone, Quader, general secretary of the party, told a rally in Noakhali on Saturday.
The minister said the opposition BNP had failed to wage a movement to topple the government and would fail to win the general election as well.
It had not been able to do anything of note in the last 14 years and would not be able to do anything in the future either, Quader added.
The minister added that 16 years ago, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman fled to London on an agreement that he would not participate in politics anymore.
“The same Tarique Rahman now says that there will be no shortage of money- ‘We will bring down Sheikh Hasina by holding protests'. Tarique Rahman is showing the arrogance of money to BNP leaders and workers. Where did all this money come from?” said Obaidul Quader.
He also claimed that Tarique Rahman has laundered crores of taka and people all over the world have figured it out.
