Information Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud has said Prime Minister and party chief Sheikh Hasina's upcoming Rangpur rally will turn into a “human sea.”
"If the BNP tries to create anarchy, it will be resisted," he told a special extended meeting of the Awami League's Rangpur division unit at Rangpur Shilpakala Academy on Thursday, reports BSS.
The politician urged all leaders and activists of the Awami League to present the development of Rangpur and the country before the people.
About the BNP, the information minister said the secretary general of the party has said that their movement will not be peaceful.
“They have proved that violence is the main target of the party as it demands the resignation of the government and dissolution of parliament before the election,” he added.
