Law Minister Anisul Huq has taken a strong position, saying that the government will not enter any discussions with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) about their “unfeasible demands.”
During the inauguration of a training workshop for judges at the Judicial Training Institute in Dhaka on Sunday, he told reporters: "The only viable path is election. I believe there is no necessity for dialogue about unrealistic demands."
Rejecting the necessity for political discussions, the law minister strongly declared that the government will not engage in any dialogue with the BNP concerning the upcoming election.
"The prime minister has unequivocally stated that there will be no dialogue, and this decision is final," he added.
The minister also said: "Allow me to be crystal clear. Their demand is unrealistic, and as a result, there will be no dialogue."
