Nasrul emphasizes the need for enhancing customer service quality

He said 100% implementation of RADP in the present context is quite good and it should be continued

Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that the quality of customer service should be increased with prompt decisions to provide a better service for the general people.

He said team initiatives and supervision should be strengthened to implement projects quickly.

The state minister said these things about the implementation of 100% RADP in the "Implementation Progress Review of Power Department Development Projects from July 2022 to June 2023" meeting on Sunday.

He said that 100% implementation of RADP in the present context is quite good and it should be continued. 

“In fact, customer satisfaction is our main goal. It is necessary to increase the planned communication activities to strengthen the existing trust relationship with the customers,” he added.

It is noted that in the 2022-23 fiscal year, the allocation against 71 projects under the annual development program was Tk28,319.72 crores. The financial cost is Tk28,400.30 crore. 

The financial progress rate is 100.28% while progress as per ceiling is 101.58% and physical progress is 100%. Financial progress was also 101.90% in 2021-22 fiscal year.

In this virtual meeting, senior secretary of power department Md Habibur Rahman, chairman of PDB Md. Mahbubur Rahman, chairman of REB Salim Uddin and DG of Power Cell Mohammad Hossain were connected with the heads of related organizations.
