Lyricist Russel O' neil found dead at his Tejgaon home
He was found hanging for the ceiling fan of his bedroom, say police

Lyricist Mehbubul Hassan Russell, better known as Russel O' neil, was found dead at his Tejgaon home on Thursday.
Police recovered his body hanging from a ceiling fan at midnight after being reported by the family of the 47-year-old.
Duty Officer Md Saidur Rahman of Tejgaon Industrial Area police station said, Russel went to his room after having dinner with his family. When his family did not hear from him after 11pm, they reported the police.
Police initially suspect it to be a case of suicide. However, the real reason behind the incident can be found following an investigation, he said.
The body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.
Russell is best known for his song “Din Bari Jaay Chorey Pakhir Danay '' among others. A number of his songs have been sung by Bappa Mazumder's band Dalchhut. The lyricist has also worked as a journalist.
