State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid emphasized the need for the modernization of departments by connecting patriotism with professionalism.
He stressed the importance of fostering teamwork and cultivating a mindset of competence, intelligence, and professionalism among team members.
He made these remarks during his address as the chief guest of the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the FY24 of the Power Division with other departments.
The ceremony took place at Bidyut Bhaban on Sunday.
Highlighting the achievements of the Power Division, the state minister acknowledged their past triumphs but urged officials to strive for even better performance.
He emphasized the significance of making prompt decisions and implementing modern management practices without compromise. While acknowledging the challenges ahead, he encouraged everyone to face them head-on and ensure that the targets set in the APA are completed within the stipulated time frame.
During the ceremony, 17 department heads of the Power Division signed the APA with the senior secretary of the division.
The Power Division's implementation of the APA ranked second in FY2021-22.
The event was attended by EPRC Chairman Md Mokabbir Hossain, Power Cell Director General Mohammad Hossain and other heads of related departments.
The program was chaired by Power Division Senior Secretary Md Habibur Rahman.
