University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized the prize-giving ceremony of the Photo Contest 2021 and 2022 along with the Independence Day poster contest 2023 on its campus on Monday.
ULAB's Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Jude W Genilo gave the welcome speech at the ceremony, said a press release issued on Monday.
Shafiqul Alam Kiran, photographer of Map Photo Agency was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.
In his speech, he advised the photographers that they should not only focus on developing their skills but also on contributing to society through their photographs.
Later, he handed over the crest and Certificates to the winners and participants.
Kiron, along with D Jude W Genilo, inaugurated the photo exhibition.
The exhibition was arranged by Shutterbugs.
The event was also attended by the students, photography enthusiasts and officials of ULAB.
