The state-owned Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling essential items from Tuesday to one crore family cardholders.
Soybean oil, sugar and lentils will be available at Tk100, Tk70 and Tk70 per kilogram respectively at the sale points, according to TCB press release issued on Monday.
TCB in a press briefing said that it will sell essential commodities in different parts of the country through its dealers and at fixed places in association with the city corporations, district and upazila administrations.
Each family can buy a maximum 2kg of soybean oil, lentils and onion and maximum 1kg sugar.
