Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the cabinet secretary apprised the president of various aspects of the overall administrative activities at his office, President's press secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS later.
The cabinet secretary sought the direction and cooperation of the president in fulfilling his assignments.
The head of state wished for the success of the cabinet secretary.
President's Office Secretary Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin and Secretary (attachment) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were also present there.
