Students form human chain demanding green environment

GEarth, an organization that aims to unite the people of the world, including Bangladesh, to commit to environmental restoration has set a sustainable development target up to 2030

A human chain was formed in front of Rajdhani High School on Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka on Sunday on the occasion of Independence Day demanding a greener environment.

The Global Law Thinkers Society (GLTS) organized the human chain participated by people concerned in the area along with students.

Guardians of the Earth (GEarth), an organization that aims to unite the people of the world, including Bangladesh, to commit to environmental restoration has set a sustainable development target up to 2030.

They are also with this initiative along with GLTS. They are working to combat the climate crisis with students and numerous professionals from different countries of the world by planting trees.

On the occasion of Independence Day in Bangladesh, 10 countries of five continents – India, Nepal, Mexico, Pakistan, Malaya, Ivory Coast, Hungary, Gambia, Cameroon, Australia and Bangladesh – took part in this event. The slogan of “green war, green liberation, stop climate change together” highlighted the demand for building a green world.
