Police recovered the body of a Rohingya youth who was hacked with hands and face tied in Rohingya Camp No 9, Balukhali, Cox's Bazar on Thursday morning.
The deceased is Mahbubur Rahman, 30, son of Abu Shama, a resident of East area of Ukhia Camp-8.
Officer-in-charge of Ukhiya police station Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that the body has been sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
OC Mohammad Ali said that police went to the spot after receiving information that a bloody body of a young man was lying in camp number 9. From there, the slaughtered body was found with its hands tied behind the back and mouth tied with rope. He had a puncture wound on his left leg.
The police officer said that the miscreants abducted him on Wednesday afternoon and took him to Camp No 9 and killed him there late at night tying his hands and feet.
A Rohingya volunteer named Mohammad Rashid, 35, was killed by Rohingya miscreants on Wednesday morning. In the last two days, two Rohingyas were killed within 24 hours.
