The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Friday said the source of the explosion inside Cafe Queen restaurant in the basement of a building in Gulistan's Siddikbazar area is yet to be found.

According to the CID sources, the building is in a very risky state as the beams and pillars of the basement were severely damaged.

CID's crime scene unit has collected evidence by inspecting the inside and outside of the building, said Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Md Mizanur Rahman.

The crime scene unit is searching for the origin of the blast in the basement of the building. “However, the source of the explosion has not yet been found,” said Mizanur Rahman.
