A Bangladeshi student was killed in a road crash in Australia on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Gazi Azraf Ezaz, 18, a student of Monash University in Australia.
The accident occurred around 6:45am at Mount Waverly in Melbourne, confirmed Australian local police.
According to sources, the accident took place as a truck hit his bicycle when he went out in the morning for physical exercise, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
A Bangladeshi Mahbub Smarak, a neighbor of Ezaz told Prothom Alo that Ezaz was a first-year student at Monash University, one of the best universities in the world. Earlier, he completed his high school with 98% marks. His untimely death is very sad incident.”
