South Africa road crash: Another Bangladeshi undergoing treatment dies

The death toll now stands at six

One of the Bangladeshi nationals, who was injured in the February 24 South Africa road crash, has succumbed to his injuries while being treated at a hospital. 

The deceased, 35-year-old Anisul Haque of Daganbhuyian upazila of Feni, took his last breath at around 8pm on Monday. 

He was being treated at George Hospital in South Africa. 

The death toll from the road crash now stands at six. Another injured person is Nahid, from Dhaka.

Five Bangladeshi nationals were killed in a road accident in South Africa on February 24.

The deceased were identified as Ismail Hossain, 32, son of Shariatullah of Birali village at Panchgachhia union under Feni Sadar upazila, Razu Ahmed, 34, of Dakkhin Neyazpur village under Daganbhuyian upazila, Md Mustafa, 40, of Momarijpur at Matubhuiyan union under Daganbhuyian upazila, Abul Hosain, 45, and Nadim Hossain, 10, of Char Majlishpur under Sonagazi upazila.

Two people Anisul and Nahid were severely injured in the road crash.
