Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday said that Awami League wants to compete with BNP in the upcoming election rather than getting into conflict with them.
Referring to various rumours spread in the country's politics when the national elections come, he said that there will be no bias and no interference in the elections.
Obaidul Quader said: “BNP does not understand anything except conspiracy. Awami League has considered BNP as a political opponent from the beginning but they have sought enmity with us.”
Awami League will hold a divisional gathering in Mymensingh on March 11 and Barisal on March 18. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present as the chief guest, he added.
