A worshipper died of heart attack during the second phase of Bishwa Ijtema at about 4:15am on Friday.
The deceased is Mofizul Islam, 60, son of Abdul Rana Mia of Shimultali area of Savar.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Detective (DB) Assistant Commissioner Chowdhury Md confirmed the death and said that Mofizul suddenly fell ill. Later, he died on the way to hospital from Ijtema ground.
