Biman Bangladesh Airlines Deputy General Manager of the security department Major Taiz Ibna Anowar had been removed from his post on Sunday. He was transferred to the Armed Forces Division.
Major Mahmudul Hasan was made the new deputy manager of the security department of the national flag carrier, Public Administration Ministry said in a notice signed by Deputy Secretary Abdullah Arif Muhammad.
Major Taiz Ibna Anowar was the general manager of the ground service equipment department and deputy general manager of the security department at the national carrier.
He was the prime suspect in the recent Biman Bangladesh Airlines question paper leak incident. He was a member of the committee formed to prepare the question paper.
However, he rejected any link regarding any involvement with the leak.
Major Taiz Ibna Anowar was also accused of concealing information about the security clearance required to board the president's return flight to Dhaka on November 16, 2022.
