A three-day mobile photo exhibition of photography group "Photosense" has begun in Narayanganj.

The three-day exhibition was inaugurated at the Ali Ahmed Chunka Nagar Library and Auditorium on Thursday.

A total of 58 photos of 36 mobile photographers were displayed at the event. The exhibition will run from 3pm to 9pm until Sunday.

Documentary photographer Safiqul Alam Kiran of MAP Photo Agency said: "A photographer has to see a moment differently from the way common people see it. This ability to see differently makes a picture important.”

He added that in this case, the device a photographer uses is not important. “Today's exhibition is the proof that extraordinary pictures can be taken using simple devices like mobile phones.”

Sourav Bhuiyan, the founder of Photosense, said: “This is the second time we've displayed mobile photography. Through this exhibition, we hope to spread a message to those who enjoy taking images but hesitate to do so because they lack a suitable camera, such as a DSLR or an expensive camera.”

Start with the device you have available, he advises.

Documentary photographer Bashir Ahmed Sujan, travel-street photographer, co-founder and president of Narayanganj Photographic Club Joy K Roy Chowdhury and many others were present at this time.
